One dark and muggy night Narcissa Black-Malfoy retired to bed, sleep soon over-taking her. That was, until a loud bang was heard from the depths of the Malfoy Manor. She convinced herself it was one of the house-elves knocking something over and reminded herself to punish said house-elf the next morning, but then there came the bang again. And faint voices where heard. Now, in order to be heard at all from Narcissa’s bedroom, you most certainly had to shout, as she had found out a few years ago. The beautiful blonde woman slipped out of her four-poster bed and quietly made her way downstairs, in case it was an intruder that had been shouting.
There stood her son, Draco, in the center of the hall, tears streaming down his face as he looked at his mother. Narcissa rushed forward and comforted the boy, and asked him what had happened. He did nothing except for look at the opposite end of the hallway, where, stepping out of the shadows, emerged the figure of Lucius Malfoy. His wand was pointing straight at them. Narcissa watched him anxiously. Why was he doing this? He would destroy the family. Lucius would leave Pansy husband-less if he killed them.
But with a small pop! out of nowhere appeared Severus Snape, a life-long friend of Narcissa and Lucius. They dueled and Lucius was killed in the fight. Luckily, Narcissa, Draco nor Severus were severely harmed, and the hidden love of Narcissa and Severus emerged.

Five years later, Harry James Potter scanned his surrounding, his emerald eyes reflecting the light of a street lamp. The leaves underfoot scuttled across the ground as the wind whistled down the run-down Muggle Street. The Boy Who Lived walked forward, his destination being the graveyard at the end of the street. It was tonight that he was going to end it all.
Tonight he was to kill Lord Voldemort
---
Of course, Harry Potter succeeded in the killing of the Dark Lord, much to the Wizarding community’s joy. At last they could live peaceful and happy lives, without the threat of darkness taking over. The ex-Hogwarts students married and had children. The Ministry tracked down most Death Eaters and they are now locked up in Azkaban or at special centers that look after them and make sure they won’t turn ‘Dark’ again.
Narcissa Malfoy [now Snape after her marriage to Severus] took the position of Headmistress of Hogwarts and got it up and running again. The school sent out new acceptance letters and now the new generation have arrived at Hogwarts. Who knows what will happen? Will a new darkness emerge from the shadows? Only time will tell.
